Week 1 Lab 2 (Primitive Robot)

This is the exercise that we had to do for lab 2. Basically, the technique used for this modelling was the same as primitive axe exercise in lab 1. However, this time we had to model it just by looking at a picture given to us. This was a new challenge for me because the picture was 2D and i had to convert it into a 3D model. Originally, i thought it would be tough, but as time went by, using just primitive shapes was enough to model the entire robot itself. With a few rotation and scaling involved, the robot was done.

Overall, this was an exercise that was average in terms of difficulty, but it took quite some time as i was still quite new to using Maya.
